Scout Wizard (SW) is one of the Angeles City Council's program and/or activity in which its main purpose is to unite all scouts from different districts and private schools; elementary and secondary.The SW provides special lectures and trainings for those who want to excel in the field Angeles City Council Scouts advancement program.

The aim of SW is to provide the scouts of Angeles City the knowledge of scout skills combining education and lifelong values. The original purpose of the SW is to set a competition of each schools--private or public, a competition of knowledge and skills learned in scouting. It was set to give the scouts a competitiv, friendly and interesting competition. The audience of the Battle of the Scout Wizards can also learn and inculcate what has been asked on the participants.

The Scout Wizards are those who have an intellectual and open mind who wish to share for the benefit of those who are in need. Those who uses their knowledge to the best of their ability on something that will make others happy. Those who joined the Battle of the Scout Wizards, which held annually; are automatic member of the group. It is an exclusive group of the scouts from BSP-Angeles City Council.

The history of the Scout Wizards started during the establishment of the United Senior Scout Leaders of Angeles City (USSLAC) as an umbrella organization of the BSP-Angeles City Council in which its main purpose is to train all senior scout leaders of each unit/ school on how to handle a unit; and how to be an effective leader. On the summer of 2004 the two Eagle Scouts of Holy Angel University; ES Floyd Dizon and ES Ryann Joseph Sanchez while executing a training of senior scouts at the BSP Headquarters in Angeles City, they did think of an activity that will enhance the leadership skills of the senior scout officers of different schools at the same time to have a camaraderie; because on that time most of the SCL's do not know the SCL's of other school. The Association of Senior Scout Leaders of Angeles City (ASSLAC) was then give birth. Because of the unusual name ASSLAC in which it oftens mispronounced as aslac, a kapampangan native language which means having a big poppy eyes during the person's sudden shockness; it was renamed into the United Senior Scout Leaders of Angles City since it's main purpose is to unite all schools.  The USSLAC was approved by FSE Edgardo B. Timbol thru the help of the Chairman, on Advancement Committee by then in which Scout Erin Tolentino of ACHS-SSC as the eleceted first president. The pioneer batch of  USSLAC in 2004 was then a successful event since it launched the leadership training for those school who are not active; the tree planting at Brgy. Cuayan, Angeles City who participated by more than 6 schools within the city composed of more than 50 participants. In the mid of the USSLAC's supremacy, the founder is wondering why most of the scouts are lacking on the scouting fundamentals and history; the Battle of the Scout Wizards was born. The Battle of the Scout Wizards was organize by the executive officers of the USSLAC. The Battle of the SW was pioneered on the 5th Citywide Jamborette held at the AFP Grounds by more than 20 schools who participated the said jamborette. The competition then was divided into two divisions; the Boy Division and the Senior Division. The 2nd Battle of the Scout Wizards was held the the 6th Citywide Scout Jamborette held at Brgy. Cutud, Angeles City. The new CSE was appointed at the BSP Headquarters, Angeles City, Mr. Bienvenido P. Santos Jr. and so USSLAC is ablished--due to some definite reasons. In the year 2009, the Battle of the Scout Wizards is coming back in the scene as it will taking part on the 9th Citywide Scout Jamboree with its official insignia.

Rules and Regulation

1.    The Battle of the Scout Wizards is open to all:

a.    Duly registered scout of Angeles City Council.

b.    Boy and Senior Scout only.

2.    The Battle shall be held during the 9^th Citywide Scout Jamboree

        (BLUEBOY Camp).

3.    The organizing committee, eagle scouts and

       STP Batch are not qualified to join the competition.

4.    The venue and time shall be announced during the jamboree.

5.    The contestant shall be in Type A (complete scout uniform) or

        B (scout pants with neckerchief) or school uniform.

6.    All reviewers should be kept upon registration.

7.    Coaches are allowed but not inside the competition area.

8.    Only one (1) team per school with two participants only.

9.    The participants should come 15 minutes before the competition starts.

10.  The organizing committee shall be the Angeles City Eagle Scouts and selected scouts.

11.  The battle have two (2) Divisions

          a.    Junior Division – Boy Scout

          b.    Senior Division – Senior Scout

12.  The Junior Division – Boy Scout Program

a.    Shall be composed of elementary students only.

b.    Materials to be use will be provided by the organizing committee.

c.    There shall have three (3) categories:

i.              Easy round

ii.             Average round

iii.            Difficult round

d.    For every round there are ten (10) questions.

e.    There are three (3) Elimination process:

i.              1st Elimination – 8

ii.             2^nd Elimination – 5

iii.            3rd Elimination -3 (3^rd place, 2^nd place & Champion)

f.     Topics to be tackled:

13.  The Senior Division – Senior Scout Program

a.    Shall be composed of high school students only.

b.    Materials to be use will be provided by the organizing committee.

c.    There shall have three (3) categories:

i.              Easy round

ii.             Average round

iii.            Difficult round

d.    For every round there are ten (10) questions.

e.    There are three (3) Elimination process:

i.              1st Elimination – 8

ii.             2^nd Elimination – 5

iii.            3rd Elimination -3 (3^rd place, 2^nd place & Champion)
